REDEFINING
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself

What is the Meaning of Redefining Life and why it is vital?
To redefine is to define again by giving new desirable meaning.
Redefining is a process of becoming something different and better. It takes a firm decision, substantial inner drive and a clearly defined plan on how one intends to create the best version of themselves. The fascinating part about the whole process of redefining your life is that there is no best architect outside yourself who can excellently do the job. This entails that you have a pen in your hand to draw the plan of how you would want to give a new desirable meaning to your life or areas that need to be worked on.
Creating a new different meaning in your life is possible by firstly identifying the need to and the reasons for redefining. The reasons do not need to be valid or rational but have to be strong, for they will sustain you in the journey.
The reason (s) behind the mission of redefining yourself is the energy that will keep you motivated to continue even in the times when it hurts.
Just like any other journey; it requires planning, preparation and a sense of direction. Having a clearly defined plan makes it easier to guide you in focusing in your lane without the waiver or comparing your progress with others. Your plan should include short term objectives and long term objectives.

Redefining comes with sacrifice, a lot of patience and dedication, remember you are obliterating an old version of yourself and updating a new one into your system. The cost lies in deserting unhealthy habits, changing your old way of doing or thinking and adopting new systematic ways that contribute to the goal of redefining. At this stage, you are required to be as intentional as possible. There are certain things that you need to say NO to because they do not serve your purpose of redefining yourself.
Conversely, certain environments or relationships are toxic and not favourable to your growth. As you decide to embark on the journey of redefining your life it is paramount that you examine your surroundings and the people in your life. The goal of redefining your life is to create new results, therefore; it is your responsibility to eliminate anything that may obstruct the success of your life.

From time to time life throws up unexpected worst-case scenarios and it is through these situations that create an inevitable path to redefine ourselves. Such circumstances can break or make us into something great depending on how you handle the situation and either way it will impact the course of your life. It is possible to come out of any ugly situation great because you decided not to be knocked down. The most important aspect is to reflect and how you would want to redefine your life despite the challenge.
At any stage of life, you can decide to redefine your life. It does not matter how many times you have been redefining. Human beings are wired in a structural way that stimulates evolving, as we continued to grow, change and acquiring knowledge or thriving for better we also continue to redefining the best version of ourselves. The key is to be open-minded, cultivate a culture of learning and acquiring necessary knowledge.
How do you know it is the best time to redefine your life?
There is no such thing as the perfect or right time to redefine your life. The pen is in your hand to design the best-desired version, you determine when and how?

However, here are some Indications that can direct you:
- Personal development
When there is no development or growth happening in your life, this may be an emergency call to go back to the drawing board and redefine. Not necessarily changing your development plan but assessing why there are no results yet you are putting the work. One of the ways is to conduct an assessment by checking small aspects like habits, and attitude. These two are the greatest currency for success!
When these two are not right, it is difficult to create the best version of yourself. Do not keep on carrying the same habits and attitude that does not bring a change and expect different results. Albert Einstein once said that ‘insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results”
Do not attempt to onboard to a journey of redefining your life without a personal development plan. It is more like going to a place you never been before without a map of direction or a GPS and expecting not to get lost.
• Losing drive or passion for life
This is a very strong signal that you need to give a new meaning to your life. Bring the good vibe into your life and start living it with passion. Sometimes it is not easy to pick up yourself after encountering difficult tragedies but it is crucial to be resilient and rise above the storm.

Be it at work, business or life in general. The urge of becoming or doing more is a signal that you need to accept the action of bringing a redefining aspect in your life. Normally it comes with its package of hunger and new energy ready to be explored for the specific work.

If you are not happy with your current reality; there is a way out, do not stay unhappy but create a satisfactory meaningful life by redefining it.
